Alt-Country, Americana, Rock and Blues
If you're looking for a pedal-steel player that can nail the traditional country/Bakersfield sound, look no further than Ron Reiss. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the genre and the chops to go with it. That being said, I'd have to say his most impressive quality is his versatility. Often times, with an Alt/Country group, Ron would fill the sonic space typically meant for a B3 organ. His atmospheric steel runs were the perfect compliment to our mix. -Miles Cabeceiras, the Pontchartrain Wrecks
